For whom: Mass media, journalists, and news and social bloggers of Central Asia.
Dates: July 15 – 22
In a 7-day online marathon on Telegram and Facebook, participants will learn the specifics of working in these social networks, how to register an account / channel, build communication with their audience, create high-quality and in-demand content and create a visual concept.
Online lessons with a trainer will be held on the ZOOM platform, where you will study theory, analyze practical homework assignments and receive feedback from the trainer.
Stages:
July 5-13 – acceptance of applications and selection of participants;
July 13-14 – consideration of applications, notification of participants about the selection results;
July 15 – adding participants to the Telegram channel and the start of the marathon;
July 15-22 – work with a coach, daily online lessons lasting 1.5-2 hours, theory + practice, homework analysis and feedback from the coach;
July 22 – the end of the marathon.
Requirements:
be a citizen of Central Asian countries
be ready to change your accounts or editorial accounts depending on the coach’s feedback (optional)
no age restrictions
Internet access and the ability to connect to online lessons
About the trainer: Jamilya Maricheva is a journalist, editor, producer, has 16 years of experience in media, in recent years specializing in open data, digital in media and organizational work. Jamilya is the author of the PROTENGE.kz project (it is very simple and understandable about government spending), she worked as an executive editor at HOLANews.kz.
Participation is free. A limited number of seats.
