The CABAR.asia Media School of the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR) in Central Asia accepts applications for participation in a week-long workshop “Online Learning: Opportunities for Effective Communication”

After completing the practical workshop, it is expected that all participants will gain a better understanding of modern educational tools, their types and purpose, get acquainted with the basics of building an interactive lesson and effective communication through new media, master the basics of using Google Class, Zoom, and the CABAR.asia Media School platform.
The knowledge gained will be consolidated in practice, feedback from the trainer will be provided, and accompanying consultation for teachers during the first quarter of the new academic year.
Requirements for participants:
- be a citizen of the countries of Central Asia;
- be a lecturer at the Faculty of Journalism;
- have access to the Internet and the ability to connect to online lessons daily for 2 hours.

The workshop is held within the framework of the project “Development of new media and digital journalism in Central Asia” in cooperation with the Journalism and Mass Communication Department of AUCA (American University of Central Asia).
