The Institute for War and Peace Reporting in Central Asia (IWPR CA) invites journalists and media representatives from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan to participate in the School of Analytical Journalism.
The theme of the School 2024: Ecology and Water Resources.
The School aims to enhance participants’ skills by imparting theoretical and practical knowledge essential for successful work in investigative journalism, environmental journalism, data journalism, analytical journalism, etc.
The School will be conducted as part of the “Driving Sustainable Change Together” project, supporting sustainable regional initiatives on water resources management in Central Asia.
Training sessions will take place in Almaty, Bishkek, and Dushanbe. Financial support will be provided to cover travel and accommodation expenses for participants from the regions during the training period.

February 22 – 24 – Almaty
How to Apply for Participation?
Interested individuals must complete the application form by January 3, 2024, 18:00 Almaty/Bishkek time and 19:00 Dushanbe time to apply for the School.
Due to a limited number of available spots, a competitive selection process for participation is anticipated.
