One of the main tasks of the IWPR project is the development of the GO Viral community. When starting implementation, IWPR plans to conduct an in-depth analysis and assessment of the baseline state of the community in order to build the right/appropriate work strategies.
To accomplish this task, we are looking for a consultant with experience working with online communities and developing a community baseline document.
Objectives: To conduct a baseline assessment of the Go Viral community and develop a Community Canvas.
Tasks:
- Identify quantitative indicators for the current time with a breakdown by country, gender and sector
- Determine if there is a common vision / mission / goal of the community
- Determine the level of awareness among the participants of the vision / mission / goal of the community
- Identify the main motivation of the participants in the community
- Determine the level of involvement and interaction between participants in the community (exchange of information, joint decision-making or action)
- Identify the main core of active / involved participants
- Assess the development potential of the existing network
- Make recommendations based on the assessment and platform
- Suggest a Community Canvas project
Workload:
- Develop an assessment methodology,
- Analyze the current state of the situation
- Prepare an assessment report with recommendations
- Develop a Community Canvas (which includes an overall development strategy and recommendations for an action plan)
Expected products:
- Baseline report
- Initial data (questionnaires, audio recordings, Excel / SPSS files, graphs)
- Community canvas
Primary requirements:
- Experience in developing online communities
- Knowledge of the specifics of social projects
- Knowledge of the specifics of social research
- Understanding and knowledge of the characteristics of the region (or willingness to learn)
- Understanding what a community canvas is and the ability to develop
- Good Russian or English, ability to write a report
IWPR support
- Access to community chat, facilitate the assessment process

Timing:
- Toolkit development – 10 days.
- Data analysis and processing – 20 days.
- Reporting and delivery – 7-10 days.
- The start of the contract is November 8, 2021
